Summer Beach time fun!

New preview today! Starring the beautiful Cassi and her cute as a button daughter Mackenzie. It was an absolutely gorgeous day at the beach but wow, that wind really made it a challenge.
These two faced that challenge with big smiles. Of course, I took out the ones where we were laughing so hard because Cassi’s hair was completely in front of her.

If you are a “fan” on my facebook page you may have read my post about them putting a little gift together for Cassi’s husband who is deployed right now. I know he will love it!
ADORABLE!

Hope you all enjoy the preview as much as Mackenzie’s Daddy will!

Thanks Cassi!

Wendy and Sam

Wendy, congratulations on having you man back home!

This was my first homecoming on the airstrip and wow, a photographer's delight! I have already shown Wendy and Sam thier images but I had to share! I think you'll enjoy it too!

Sam Is a wonderful Navy pilot as you can clearly see. I had a great time watching the planes coming in, and it couldn't have been a more beautiful, sunny day!

You just can pass the opportunity to photograph this awe striking sight.

And wow, just as striking! These lovely ladies really know how to turn it up when thier husbands come in. What husband wouldn't be happy to see them? I love it!

They weren't the only ones excited to see those pilots come in though. I snapped up several shots of the kids nervously waiting for thier Daddies!

I love this shot! As you can tell, the wives were just as nervous or at least holding back overwhelming excitement!

And when these guys make an entrance- They make an entrance!

But nothing in the world beats that first moment back together!

Congrates to you Wendy and Sam and the rest of the group.

Photo Session Preview for the "S" Family

Here is a session preview of a sweet family. Dad is away on deployment. So while he is away we "sanpped" up the moment to do a session and send him the results. This session turned out so beautifully. There was a lot of playtime and we couldn't have had such wonderful results without this lovely window light. So taking advantage, we did the whole session with natural lighting. I hope you enjoy the results! Please feel free to leave comments and follow along as more sessions are posted with the new "Followers widget."

I just love the blonde little curls. Reminds me of my oldest when he was little! So adorable, and what a mischievously sweet smile! The Black and White image was done with a beautiful watercolor effect. Makes for a timeless look! Oh, but I can't ever get enough of little fingers and toes! Without ruining the surprise I had to post one more precious portrait!

We put together a small album that dad will be able to tuck away in a pocket or other safe place! I'm so excited- I just recieved it, so off to the post office!

Lindsey and Tyler

Here is preview of a sizzling session of Lindsey and Tyler. They called as part of the OpLove program which I have blogged about before. A great program for active military and thier family.

These two were a lot of fun, so cute together, and I know she is still laughing at me for making them say "Yes" all through the session to get their perfect smiles. Hey, whatever works! And believe me it did! They look great!

Here is a "Photographer's Fav"

By the way, It was thier 1st anniversary we did this and they had to be torchured with me and my goofiness! So a big shout out:

Happy Anniversary Tyler and Lindsey!

Operation Love ReUnited

Many in Hampton Roads have been through a military deployment. There are no words to explain how hard it must be to send the father or mother of your children off to some foreign dangerous land, leaving you all behind…. Alone. It’s indescribable to watch their faces light up as their father or mother comes down the stairs of the ship or off the aircraft after months, possibly a year or more, of not hugging each other. Emotions fly through everyone, it’s so very good to be home. Your base’s Family Support Squadron will help you with your deployment. But the last thing on your mind when your wife or husband arrives home after a 4 to 18+ month tour, is capturing all this love– on camera. Most people are so overwhelmed with emotions they forget to simply point and shoot the camera they are grasping to get their child’s first hug, or that single tear of relief from a mother being able to hold her twenty year old son again. With the help of Operation: Love ReUnited I am here to help you capture that moment. The Operation helps those long months go by a little faster. It’s designed to capture moments that you will never remember. It’s art. It’s love. And it’s all made possible by artists wanting to give something back to those who make the United States what it is, and ask for nothing in return- but to come home! If you are a member of the United States Military, and are interested in having very special and touching images with a patriotic edge taken of you and/or your family before a deployment or during, and at your reunion, please contact me now. You will receive a memorable gift in appreciation for all you have been through as a military member. The gift included is a 4x6 album of pre-deployment images, such as a child’s hand clasped in his parent’s with the faint glimpse of a BDU sleeve, a marine in dress with his family, a sailor with his parents right before departure, or a child playing dress up in combat boots and a helmet. The album will be sent to the deployed soldier by the photographer, at no cost to you. Also with your package, all session fees will be waived. Who I'd like to meet:We would like to meet ANYONE who needs our help!GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND THEIR FAMILIES!

This emotional session preview is from a wonderful couple who had been apart during thier marriage almost as long as they have been together. It was great to meet them both including thier mothers who also traveled across the US to be part of this touching moment of Mr. N stepping off the ship from his very long deployment to the Iraq war. I can't wait for you to see them all!!
